Start with the venue and show manual
For an exhibition in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor, send the exact venue, show dates, floor plan and current exhibitor manual. Rules belong to the individual show; a previous event's requirements may not apply.
What your booth builder needs to know
- Footprint, open sides and whether the space is shell scheme or space only.
- Products to display, demonstrations, seating and storage needs.
- Target budget, brand assets and the person approving the design.
- Design submission deadlines, build-up access and dismantling responsibilities.
Compare the scope as well as the quotation
When comparing exhibition stand contractors, check the agreed design, materials, graphics and installation. Ask who handles organiser submissions, electrical orders, furniture and removal. Include a responsibility in the contract only when it has been agreed; these items are not automatically included.
Is a booth supplier the same as a booth contractor?
The terms overlap, but the scope can differ. Some suppliers provide individual displays; a design-and-build brief covers the booth as a whole. ExpoWorks focuses on booth design, production and installation, with the final deliverables confirmed for each project.
